Nnebuchi Nwankwo is the founder of AMAKA BEAUTY STUDIO. She obtained her Master’s degree in Fashion Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2011. She has been a licensed natural hair care specialist since 2012, and a licensed natural hair care teacher since 2013. Ms. Nwankwo’s 20 years of experience as a fashion and beauty professional has taken her many places such as working with beauty companies like Estee Lauder, MAC Cosmetics, Sephora, and Iman Cosmetics. As well as, fashion brands like Vera Wang, Simply Vera, Nike, CATO, Belk, Kayser-Roth Corporation, Shein, No Nonsense, Lugz, as well as private label programs for Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Dollar General.  Nwankwo has used her education and experience in these various industries to do work as an educator at Bauder College once located in Atlanta, Georgia; The Art Institute of Charlotte; and Sherrill’s University located in Raleigh, North Carolina. She founded AMAKA GLOBAL ENTERPRISES LLC. to encompass all of the areas she loves such as fashion, beauty, and product development. Under the AMAKA GLOBAL ENTERPRISES umbrella, Nwankwo has started many endeavors including a fashion and beauty consulting firm, AMAKA DESIGN STUDIO , a cosmetics company, AMAKA COSMETICS  where she sells hair and makeup products that she formulated; and now AMAKA BEAUTY STUDIO , an intimate studio that offers high quality natural hair care services.
