Booking Policy

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEORE BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT:

 

A Deposit is required to book an appointment. Please call or text 919-349-9978 after booking to confirm your appointment.

 

• A NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit + 3.5% tax charge is required at the time of booking. (The 3.5% tax charge fee does not go towards your service)

• The deposit is due at the time of booking, and your deposit will go towards your total service amount. (Service Fees) (Ex. A Package Silk Press $100, $30 Deposit / Remaining Balance $70)

• If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment your deposit will be refunded to you. If you cancel the same day or after the 24 mark you forfeit your deposit. (24 hours meaning if your appointment is at 6am on 2/17 you must cancel by 6am 2/16 to receive your deposit back.)

• You are allowed to reschedule once with 1 Deposit. After the first incidence of a reschedule, you forfeit your deposit and must send another deposit to book another appointment.

•  For the remaining balance, the same card you used to pay the DEPOSIT that has been saved on file will be used or CASH. (NO EXCEPTIONS!!!)

• When booking, book all the add ons you will need before your appointment. (Ex. Detangling, Trim, or Take Down).

• Same day appointments require FULL payment when booking)

• You are responsible for rescheduling or canceling your own appointment. (You may text or email to confirm a cancellation)

• Please schedule your appointments around the weather. (RAIN, SWEAT, and HUMIDITY can/may/will ruin your hairstyle).

• ***I am not responsible for (nor will I touch up any styles due to) any mishaps that have occurred once you leave my studio). An additional $65 fee will be charged for an Emergency/Squeeze in Appointment. (Contact me for an emergency or squeeze in appointment) (Before or After Business Hours & Off Days) (8am-6pm)

• Please disclose whether your hair is matted, severely tangled, or if you have a hairstyle that needs to be taken down prior to being serviced, and book the appropriate add on services accordingly! (Ex. SEW-IN TAKE DOWN, BRAID TAKE DOWN, OR DEMATTING/DETANGLING SERVICE). Taking down braids or dematting/detangling hair take time…and add time to your service. If you show up to the service appointment with any of these scenarios, I will have to either cancel the appointment if there is a client scheduled after you, or  add additional service/services to your charge if there is time to perform it/them.

• If you are sick or do not feel well please do NOT book. If you have an appointment booked and begin to not feel well, please do not hesitate to contact me so we can reschedule your appointment.

• Booking is opened month to month (Ex. February booking opens at the end of January). Please make sure to respond to the text you will receive the day of your appointment.

• (Only the client being serviced may be in the studio. Children are not allowed in the studio, unless being serviced. Men are not allowed in the studio, unless being serviced. No pets or animals of any kind are allowed in the studio.)
